Driftlight does not collect personal data, analytics, usage events, advertising identifiers or crash telemetry. It has no account, no advertising and no tracking software.
Every wallpaper is rendered on your device. Your choices of scene, palette and settings are stored only on that device.
Driftlight asks for add-only access to your photo library so it can save the wallpapers you make. It cannot see or read the photos already in your library.
When you choose “Use as Desktop Picture,” Driftlight saves the still image inside its own app container and sets it as your desktop picture. When you choose “Export for iPhone,” it writes the Live Photo files only to the folder you pick.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Driftlight receives only the status of a purchase from Apple so it can unlock Complete; it never receives your payment details. Apple’s handling of purchase data is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
Driftlight connects only to the App Store, for purchases and to restore them. It does not send your wallpapers or settings anywhere.
Driftlight collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
